NexiusZoom (EVO) for gemmology

TheNexiusZoom and NexiusZoom EVO stereo microscopes’ backwards-tilting stands are especially designed for gemstone science and gemmology applications. They are equipped with 30W transmitted light halogen illumination angled obliquely towards the specimen which facilitates the examination of gemstones in perfect dark field conditions. The stand is available with 1W LED or 7W incident fluorescent lighting for bright field contrast.

EYEPIECES

As standard, the NexiusZoom is supplied with a pair of HWF 10x/22mm eyepieces and the NexiusZoom Evo with a pair of HWF 10x/23mm eyepieces.

HEAD

Binocular and trinocular head with 45° inclined tube. Both eyepieces with ± 5 dioptre adjustment. Interocular distance adjustable from 54mm to 75mm.

OBJECTIVES

The NexiusZoom is equipped with 1:6.7 zoom objectives with 0.67x to 4.5x magnification, field of view from 33mm to 4.9mm. The working distance is 110mm. The NexiusZoom EVO is equipped with 1:8.4 zoom objectives with 0.65x to 5.5x magnification, and a field of view from 35.4mm to 4.2mm. Working distance 110 mm. Additional 0.3x/0.4x/0.5x/0.75x/1.5x and 2.0x lenses are also available. All objectives are anti-fungus treated and AR coated to guarantee maximum light throughput.

STAND

Ergonomically designed backwards-tilting (0 to 45°) stand. Includes 76mm head holder for dark and bright field. Built-in 100-240V power supply.

STAGE

Flat stage for dark field with object clamp, iris diaphragm and transmitted light illumination.

ILLUMINATION

30W halogen transmitted light illumination, 1 Watt LED with adjustable intensity, or 7W fluorescent incident lighting, intensity not adjustable. Both illuminators can be used simultaneously. Internal power supply 100-240V.

PACKAGE CONTENTS

Supplied with power cable, dust cover, spare fuse, operating instructions. Everything is packed in a polystyrene box.
