First-class optics and strong illumination combined with a high degree of flexibility. The OMZ series comprises outstanding stereo zoom microscopes with superior optical performance. The ergonomic design ensures many hours of effortless and straightforward operation. Besides a long working distance, an extra-large field of view and brilliant resolution, the KERN OZM delivers true-colour razor-sharp images with high contrast. The zoom objective enables variable magnification from 7.5x to 45x. Besides binocular models, you also have the choice of trinocular models with a camera connection for documentation purposes and for quality reports. The pillar stand, with its variable and robust adjustment mechanism, is particularly flexible and enables an ergonomic working position. A large selection of eyepieces, (universal) stands, a dark field kit, external illumination units, additional objectives and much more besides are available as accessories. A dust cover, eyecups and multilingual operating instructions are included in the scope of delivery. A C-mount adapter is required to connect a camera to the trinocular version.

Areas of application: In vitro fertilization, parasite detection, zoology and botany, tissue preparation, section, quality control, electronics and semiconductor industries, assembly and repair.

Applications/samples: Samples with a focus on a three-dimensional impression, zoom with variable magnification (depth, thickness) e.g. insects, seeds, circuit boards, components.
