Microscopes for education
Microscopes are valuable teaching tools that enable students to explore the micro-world and view objects’ structural details. The choice of microscope is based on the types of specimens to be examined and the learning objectives. Stereo microscopes are very useful for larger specimens and low magnification, while reflected light microscopes are used for specimens that require high magnification. It is important to select microscopes with adequate magnification, high-quality objectives and eyepieces, adjustable illumination and an ergonomic design.
