My first scope

Review by A. R. on 24.01.2024 14:10:02

( 5 / 5 )

Admittedly I don't have much experience with other scope. Last time I had one, it was lent to me by a professor some 12 years ago. This scope does all its supposed to. Would recommend.

The first telescope of my life.

( 4 / 5 )

I am very satisfied with this scope. Relatively cheap, but very good. Initially, I used it for visual observation, then for astrophotography. If you will use it for astrophotography, you will definitely need a coma corrector. Its focuser is more than enough for visual observation. However, if you want to take photos with it, it will be a bit problematic. It won't handle heavier cameras, I'm mainly thinking of monochrome cameras here. I used it with a DSLR and then with a lightweight OSC camera. Its collimation is very simple, it takes a few minutes with the help of a collimation eyepiece/laser.
