VisiAid™ – The Flexible Over-Spectacles with Light-Fiber Technology for Better Vision – At Home and On the Go
VisiAid™ is the first over-spectacle with integrated lighting, specially developed for people with visual impairments. It is simply worn over existing corrective glasses and provides uniform, shadow-free illumination in the near field using the modern LuxiBright™ light-fiber – exactly where light is needed.
The light is discreetly integrated into the spectacle frame and controlled via a lightweight control unit. The light intensity can be continuously adjusted – tailored to your individual visual needs when reading, writing, working, or crafting. With over 3000 lux at a distance of 20 cm and a neutral white color temperature of 4500 K, you’ll experience natural, high-contrast vision – glare-free, without shadows, and without heat.
This version includes, in addition to the fixed table-top power supply, a portable power supply with battery pack and belt clip. This allows you to use VisiAid™ on the go – flexibly and independently, for example while shopping, traveling, or during mobile work assignments. The battery life lasts up to 6 hours depending on brightness level.
