SteREO Discovery.V12: repeatable results over the entire motorized 12:1 zoom range
The motorized components of your SteREO Discovery.V12 are fully integrated with the ZEN and AxioVision microscope software, letting you measure and record your samples in a reproducible manner. Observe Drosophila or zebrafish embryos, stents or electronic boards with an improved three-dimensional image over the entire 12:1 zoom range.
Produce high- contrast, crisp images with excellent colour fidelity, containing simply more information. The SteREO Discovery.V12 provides improved resolution and contrast for biology and quality assurance applications.

eZoom images: Double so sharp
The zoom unit is the heart of a stereo zoom microscope. When zooming, the lenses must be precisely aligned. Up to now, the accuracy of this movement, and thus the optical quality of your microscope, has been determined by a precision-manufactured metal component.
eZoom now replaces this mechanical 'zoom curve' with an electronic one. Stepping motors align the moving lenses exactly, taking into account the tolerances of the individual components. Each zoom body describes its own particular zoom curve to capture more detail. eZoom follows this baseline to display a sharp image over the entire magnification range - with double the precision of a mechanical zoom body. The zoom curves are individually programmed.
