The eyepieces in Meade’s 5000 HD-60 series offer a large 60° apparent field of view, with a flat image and excellent sharpness right to the edge. The eye relief of more than 17 millimetres ensures very good viewing comfort.

Compared to classic Plössl eyepieces, these optics are significantly better corrected in terms of chromatic aberration and edge distortion. You will be amazed at how much your observing experience benefits from these eyepieces, no matter which type of telescope you use!

The optical design of these eyepieces is based on six lens elements. Thanks to high-quality glass material, multi-layer coating on all surfaces and blackened lens edges, the best possible contrast and high transmission are achieved.

The folding rubber eye cup allows comfortable observing even with spectacles, and protects against annoying stray light.

The Meade Series 5000 HD-60 eyepieces combine very well with smaller optics. Here, the series covers all your needs. The 25-mm eyepiece with 2" connector is perfect for providing an overview, while the short focal length eyepieces are particularly suitable for lunar and planetary observing.
