Olympus BX53M
Modern microscopy made easy. With its modular concept, the BX3M series offers versatility for a wide range of applications in industry and materials research. Thanks to the improved integration with OLYMPUS Stream software, BX53M microscopes enable a smooth workflow for standard microscopic applications, and digital imaging for examinations through to reporting.
Choose the best model for you: the six recommended BX53M configurations give you the flexibility to choose the features that you need.
For general applications: Entry, Standard, Advanced
For special applications: Fluorescence, Infrared, Polarization
Various configurations depending on user requirements
Modular design: assemble your system according to your needs
The invisible becomes visible: MIX Microscopy
The BX53M series MIX microscope technology combines the traditional illumination methods with darkfield illumination. The MIX slider’s LED ring provides directional darkfield illumination of the object. This has a similar effect to conventional darkfield, but also offers the option to select a quadrant of the LEDs in order to control the light from different angles. This combination of brightfield and directional darkfield, fluorescence or polarization is called MIX illumination and is particularly suitable for highlighting defects and for distinguishing between raised areas and depressions on a surface.
